We did not get a model release for the gunfighter photos, so any commercial use of the images would be illegal. The subjects could sue both you and the photographer. So, unfortunately, our hands are tied.

I am a disabled vet fiction writer who has just finished my book called “A Gunfighter’s Promise”. I am seeking a suitable gunfighter photo for the cover.

As you well see by looking at my author website, less than 150 people have visited my website since March, 2011.

I am very interested in getting permission to use one of the gunfighter photos at your website for my book. I can offer a photo credit page link to your website, and a copy of the book once published and if required, I can afford $100.00 for 1 time use of the photo. That is the best I am able to do.

If you would be interested, it would mean alot to compliment my words with the best photo.

@Rosie, thanks for all the little “details” of the people we encountered. No, didn’t hear the six gun saloon burned down. Shitty. Steven’s personification was amazing. He truely loves his job. Just as you write in your post on Brain Gerbil about sincerely enjoying YOUR job, it was a pleasure to be a part of Steven’s story telling.

I hope you enjoyed your visit to Tombstone, and I will be sure to let Steven Keith know that you enjoyed his personification of Doc Holliday. I will also do my best to make sure that the owner of the OK Corral sees your blog. Yes, Tombstone is a VERY political town…it seems to have been that way since there were people first here.

The gunfighter that predominates in your Six Gun City shots is named Lincoln, and you may have heard that the whole place burned down in December…arson, of course. What else would you expect here in Tombstone?

Your Old Overholt bartender is named Kip.

I’d say that you likely met me, or at least heard me sing at karaoke, but I was laying low last year, and I didn’t go out much.
